The Hub of the iRide community is the shop at 290 Ruthven Street Toowoomba. Most of our social group rides start and finish in the shop carpark, and we always welcome visitors to drop in for a chat.

The shop is a gathering place, a repair workshop and, we think, a kind of cycling nirvana showcasing the latest and greatest in quality bikes and equipment. 

Racing
If you’re a racing enthusiest or looking to become one, you’ll understand that like a professional violinist, you’re only as good as your gear. Buy a second-rate bike or something more suited to amateur riders it will only take you so far. Today’s cycling technology is more advanced than ever before, so call in and to our experienced team about getting the most out of your gear. 

Adventure 
Mountain Bikes or MTB’s as they’re known in the trade have become very popular in recent years, and for good reason. They’ve come a long way from the clunky old machines that were around twenty years ago. These days MTB’s are tougher, lighter, and we think they’re a lot better looking. 

Road 
Bikes made for road riding are an entirely different kettle of fish compared to off road bikes. They’re much lighter, for starters, the tires are totally different, and there are road bikes to suit a range of different applications. At iRide we stock quality brands including Avanti, Cannondale and Specialized.  We have a bike to suit whether you’re a beginner or very keen amateur. 

Women’s 
Most people assume that women’s bikes and men’s bikes are pretty much the same. They’re not. Because women are generally smaller and lighter than men, their bikes need to match. Plus, women sometimes wear skirts. If you’re cruising downtown Toowoomba the last thing you want to do is dismount by lifting one leg over a men’s bike frame. Trust us. 

Kids 
Who can forget their first bike? Being taught to ride is one of the highlights of childhood, and we want your kids to get the best start possible. Choose from our range of superior bikes, match it with some decent safety training and they’ll be doing no-foot can-cans and double donkey kongs before you know it. 

Specialty 
Perhaps you’re a fan of the Goodies and want to buy yourself a three seater trandem. Maybe you’re after a folding bike that will fit easily in the boot of the car or the hallway of your apartment. Try us. We have all sorts of bikes for all sorts of specialties. 

Servicing 
Bikes are machines, and like cars they perform better and safer if they are serviced regularly. So whether yours is a retro 1970’s dragster or a state-of-the-art, carbon-fibre racing bike, our mechanics have the knowledge and experience to get your machine back on the road fast.
