The word training conjures up images of hell on earth for some people but it needn’t be that way. Training should be fun, but to get the most out of your sessions it pays to get the right advice. The iRide team of experienced cyclists have been there and done that when it comes to training. They’d love to help guide you in the right direction, so why not contact the shop and get the right advice from the get go.

Until then, try these training tips for size:
- Cycling in winter is always a good test for any rider as it too easy to stay in bed, for those brave enough to keep going ...
- try & warm up prior to leaving the house, stretching, crunches, push ups or jogging on the spot will help get the blood flowing & heat up your core tempreture.
- Layer up, undershirts will help move the sweat off the chest, a quailty vest will prevent the wind chill cutting through you, good gloves with WINDTEX in them will keep you digits warm, leg warmers or tights will help your lower body.
